Gap a Milano

Mi trovavo a Milano in questi giorni  e per caso passando per Corso Vittorio Emanuele, ho scoperto che Gap avrebbe aperto il suo primo store italiano il 20 Novembre, proprio a due passi da Abercrombie & Fitch. Ed é prossimo all’apertura anche Banana Republic sempre di casa Gap.

While I was in Milan these days,  I just happened to be around Corso Vittorio Emanuele and I’ve found out that Gap was going to open his first italian flagship store on the 20th of November, just near Abercrombie and Fitch store. And also Banana Republic is going to open soon.

Animalier Sunday

Queste foto sono state prese domenica scorsa, la giornata che ho dedicato ai mercatini insieme ad alcune amiche.
Iniziamo con il Lanificio factory, struttura che ospita una volta al mese l'evento Happy Sunday Market. Ma in che cosa consiste? Due piani di banchi espositori con accessori e abiti vintage e altri dove gli artisti emergenti mostrano e mettono in vendita le loro favolose creazioni; e quindi abbiamo trovato borse ma anche collane, spille, scarpe, porta bijoux; il tutto condito da buona musica.

These pics were taken last Sunday, the day I've spent in some vintage and artistic markets, with my friends.
Let's start with Lanificio factory, a build in which takes place the Happy Sunday Market event once a month. What is that? Two flats of vintage accessories/clothes and emergent artists' creations such necklaces, shoes, jewelry; and all of this with a great music background.

Dopo, é stato il turno del Micca, un locale dove ogni domenica si tiene un mercatino dello stesso genere di quello al Lanificio, con in più l'aperitivo a buffet e ovviamente sempre tanta tanta musica ;)

Later, we went to Micca club, a place where a similar market takes place every Sunday, with a buffet aperitif and so much music, of course!

Purtroppo non ho potuto scattare foto agli spazi espositivi...in compenso, ecco cosa indossavo.

Actually, I couldn't take any shots to the exhibitors...but here is What I wore.

Gold flocon

In una giornata così uggiosa come oggi, avevo voglia di pubblicare delle foto che riflettessero un tempo atmosferico totalmente diverso.
Non ho mai abbinato questi due bellissimi colori...oro e blu...e devo dire che il risultato mi soddisfa molto. La borsa che porto che può essere trasformata in clutch staccando il manico, é vintage e spero di poter fare un post sul posto dove l'ho presa, presto. Il resto é Zara, tranne le scarpe e il mono orecchino (anche se non si vede molto chiaramente).

After a rainy day like today, I wanted to publish some opposite wheater pics.  
I've never matched these wonderful colors...gold and blue...I like the effect they create. The bag I am wearing (that can be turned into a purse) is a vintage one...I hope to post the story of the place where I bought it soon. The rest of the outfit is from Zara, except for the shoes and the earring (even if you can't see it very clearly).

Mentre tutti parlano della collezione di Lavin per H&M io vorrei proporvi qualcosa di ovviamente e assolutamente diverso: Fred Perry é uno dei brands che preferisco...tra le numerose collaborazioni che il marchio stringe ogni anno, ora é il turno della cantante Amy Winehouse che ha disegnato capi che ovviamente mantengono lo stile british di FP con dei tocchi di rosa. Date uno sguardo alla collezione che personalmente, già adoro!

While everyone is talkin' about Lanvin pour H&M collaboration, I'd like to show you something obviously and absolutely different: Fred Perry is one of my favourite brands...after all of the collaborations, now is the turn for Amy Winehouse; she designed close to british style clothes which an addiction of pink. Have a look at this collection that personally I adore!

Salve a tutti, sono tornata dopo questa assenza dal blog dovuta a mille piccoli impegni e anche mille malanni...ed ecco qui le ultime foto scattate dopo un semplice aperitivo con un'amica due sere fa.
L'outfit é molto semplice, ma reso abbastanza particolare dal cappello che ho comprato recentemente da H&M e dalla classica sciarpa check di Burberry.
Questo finesettimana mi dedicherò allo studio matto e ai mercatini della domenica stile london, che io e le mie amiche abbiamo scovato da poco, ai quali siamo già state lo scorso mese ma dei quali non ho avuto modo di parlare, visto il divieto di scattare foto.

Hi everyone, I'm back after all of this time away because of many things to do and of illness...here we have the last pics taken two nights ago after an aperitif with a friend of mine.
The outfit is a really ordinary one, but has been made particoular by the brand new H&M hat and by the classic check Burberry scarf.
This weekend I am going to study, study and study again...and I am going to go to some Sunday markets (inspired to London's markets) which I've never told you because of the interdiction to take pics.

Ok, non avendo tempo per fare set fotografici etc. non mi restava altro che farmi immortalare in una giornata qualunque, vicino all'università...in una qualunque tenuta da studio :D

Having no time for a photografic set, I choose to make some photos on a random day, near my Uni...in a random study outfit :D

Ho voluto fare questo post sulla sfilata Dior dedicandomi solo ad una parte del look, perché oltre allo stile impeccabilmente colorato e fantasioso di Galliano, ho apprezzato particolarmente l'hairstyle: un taglio Bettie Page stile pin up, con frangetta ultra corta e compatta e capelli morbidi e voluminosi....j'adore!

I wanted to make this post about Dior defilé, focusing only on part of the look, because I've aprecciated not only the colorful and fantastic Galliano style but also the models hairstyle: A Bettie Page haircut in a pin up style, with super short fringe and smooth and voluminous hair...j'adore!

Venerdì sono andata a sentire il concerto di una cover band dei Beatles <3 ...la serata é stata stupenda!
Qui si può vedere come mi sono vestita (molto anni 60) e il mio nuovo taglio di capelli, del quale sono molto orgogliosa!

On Friday I went to a Beatles cover band concert <3 ...awesome! Here you can see my outfit, (sixties mood) and my new haircut, I am very proud of it!

Tally Weijl....sexy fashion

Prima dell'inizio dell'estate, stavo facendo un giro per i negozi del centro per cercare un vestito che mi occorreva per una festa di sera. Entrata alla Rinascente ho scoperto un piccolo spazio dedicato a questa marca mai sentita prima: Tally Weijl...e così due carinissimi vestiti adatti per quello che avevo in mente: uno bianco e nero e uno totally black; la scelta é caduta poi su quello nero, che potete vedere immediatamente qui sotto.

Before the summer start, I was going around in the city centre looking for a dress to wear for an evening party. In "la Rinascente" department store I've found out a tiny space dedicated to this unknown brand: Tally Weijl...and so two super cute little dresses, perfect for all that I had in my mind: one in black and white and the other one totally black; the choice has been on the black one, that you can see immediatley down here.

Laboutin or Guess?

Girando tra i negozi mi è capitato di soffermarmi su questo paio di tronchetti di Guess By Marciano...nonostante il caldo che ancora non permette il cambio dell'armadio stagionale, mi è venuta subito una gran voglia di comprarli.


One day, while I was in a shop I saw these wonderful Guess by Marciano short boots...Despite the hot wheater, I felt a sudden temptation to buy these ones.

Parliamo di cinema; in occasione dell'annuale Mostra del Cinema di Venezia alla quale partecipa anche la regista Sofia Coppola con il film in concorso "Somewhere", mi viene in mente uno dei film da lei diretti che mi è rimasto particolarmente impresso.
Marie Antoinette : come si fa a non rimanere affascinati dall'atmosfera , dalle musiche, dai colori e dalla morbidezza e fluidità del racconto. La chiave è volutamente pop e moderna, per rendere la storia di questa celeberrima regina attuale, contemporanea.
Il merito va anche alla costumista Milena Canonero, che grazie a questo film ha ottenuto l'Oscar come miglior costumista nel 2007 (per chi non lo sapesse la Canonero ha realizzato anche i costumi del più famoso Arancia Meccanica e per Odissea nello spazio 2001)...bisogna assolutamente dare uno sguardo a questi capolavori, anche se non si è visto il film...non ancora almeno

Let's talk about movies; on the occasion of 67th Venice Film Festival, I'd like to remember a movie director which is in competition with the movie "Somewhere; she is Sofia Coppola and it reminds me of one of my favourite movies: Marie Antoniette. How could it be possible to remain unmoved in front of the athmosfere, the music, the colors and the softness and fluidity of tale. The movie key is pop and modern deliberately.
Many thanks also to the costume designer Milena Canonero, who received an Oscar for that in 2007 (she is also the designer of the best known Clockwork Orange and 2001: A Space Odissey)...you have absolutely to look at these master-works, even if you've never seen the movie...yet

Ebbene, questa nota pasticceria parigina ha aperto botteghe in tutto il mondo e senti, senti...l'ultima (e prima in Italia) è stata inaugurata a Milano; ne esiste una addirittura a Versailles.

Well, these famous parisienne patisserie opened shops all over the world and listen...the last one (and first one in Italy) has been inaugurated in Milan; there is also one in Versailles.

Avere un blog...direi che potrebbe essere una nuova interessante attività...da anni ormai non ne tengo più uno...e allora il vuoto: "si, ma cosa ci scrivo in questo blog?"; per prima cosa provo ad organizzare le idee, focalizzo gli obiettivi...parlerà di moda, parlerà di musica, parlerà di cucina o di viaggi, oppure di tutte le cose messe insieme?! Ok ora basta con le chiacchere, sul serio...staremo a vedere.

Write a blog...I guess it may be a new, interesting hobby...for a long time I haven't had one...and then panic: "what kind of stuff am I gonna write about?"; first of all I try to organize ideas, I focuse on the purposes...it will talk about fashion, music, cuisine, travel or all these things togheter?! Ok now stop with words, seriously...let's wait and see what happens.
